Dot Period & Fertility Tracker App Reviews

Straight-forward and Informative

I love Dot! It has a lovely, minimal design, and is super easy to use. Its also very straight-forward and provides exactly the amount information I need at a glance. Big bonus for not being all pink too!

Perfect except for one flaw

This app is amazing but, I wish you could change the time of your cycle. Womans menstrual cycles have different times between. Plz make an option in the settings for this

Best period tracker i have ever had.

See title. It works really well and you can use it for a lot of different things involving that kind of stuff.

Best period app!

Ive tried clue and a couple other tracking apps and I just havent really liked them but I love dot! I really like how it tells you a specific date your going to start on and a percent chance of pregnancy each day. Its always been right for me within 1 day either early or late. Its a life saver!

Not worth the money

I chart, so I know exactly when its go time. Ive been comparing it to fertility friend, and this app is always off by at least 3-5 days for O day. Which if youre trying to make a baby, doesnt work. If you want to track your periods, its a fine app, but I wouldnt use it to plan a pregnancy.

Amazing game

wow, addicted to gameplay!

Do not recommend

Purchased premium dot and enjoy the GUI. Very easy to use, beautiful to look at. HOWEVER, the most basic functionality of tracking periods is dismal. Theres no countdown or warning feature for an overdue or expected period. Why would I want to be surprised while using a period tracking app (that I paid for!!). I also wish there were more symptoms. For example, forehead, chin, cheek acne, that would be excellent to keep track of. Theres more but its unnecessary to list them all. Just google "common side affects of periods" and "severe side affects of periods". I wish all those would be listed so I dont have to write my notes all the time. There are other apps out there not as nice to look at and they have ads, but theyre free with more functionality. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Very accurate

Really appreciate what this app is doing. This is very different from other trackers. Its been accurate in terms of predicting my period almost to the day so far. I love seeing my risk for pregnancy by day. Its incredibly useful and informative.

Accurate. Easy to use. Stunning Design.

Love it! Using it for birth control for more than a year now. Very accurate.

Skip this app

Dont waste your $2.99 on this app. The upgrade doesnt give you anything except the option to add notes, sex (as in what day you had it), mood, and limited features. The purchase page said it had "more features". Oh you get to change the colors which are dull and email your partner. Theres no way to track temp, cervix texture, feel, opening, height, OPKs, or edit when you ovulate. You must wait 3 entire cycles for it to actually work properly for you. If you have any type of imbalance or rarely have cycles, this app isnt for you. Skip this app and get something that includes all those options for free. The developers need to take a good long hard look at their app and compare it to the FREE apps that offer way more before they start charging $2.99 for limited features.

I am loving DOT! Thank you!

This is great.

Easy to use

This app is easy to use if you are one to forget to write down when youll get your period. As long as you use the notifications youll be fine.

Helpful

The notification to remind me to record my start date is helpful. But a notification that Im entering PMS hell week would be even better. Then I would know its just me, not that everyone I know suddenly became infuriating

Useful, stick to the free version

Ive been using the free version of this app for a year and it tracks my period to the day almost every month. Its very helpful for me as far as preventing pregnancy and making sure Im never surprised or unprepared for my start date. Easy to use and understand. I wouldnt bother paying for any other functionalities because I dont need them.

Just a few things to point out!

Most users should stick to the free version. I upgraded to the $2.99 version because I have PCOS and would like to track my moods and symptoms (which is enabled with the $2.99 version of the app). But I can see how a lot of women might find that useless, or Im sure if I did more digging I could find an app with more additives....Anyway, I like the app, the thing that MUST be changed is the wording!!! It maps out which days you "cannot get pregnant" when it should say "you are LESS LIKELY to get pregnant on those days. Could be very misleading to someone who doesnt know better.

great app

its accurate and easy to set up

App crashes

App crashes when you hit cycles and try to click the list button at the top. Not user friendly

Love it!

Great app - simple to use!

Great for all ages

Ive been using dot for a couple of months now and my prediction range has been getting closer and closer. Its only been off once but I love how I can always edit the information and it updates my profile. Ive also recommended this to my little cousin who is in need of menstrual cycle education. This will be a great tool for her to learn more about her bodys pattern.

Lame

Just deleted after the update. If updates are going to require me to reset my passcode/Touch ID every time then Im not interested. Cant add notes unless you buy the pro version. Period Tracker free version has much more to offer and yes, its "pink" and says PERIOD but a much better app if you ask me.
